SMB 2 and 3 Hacks
Because of the indifferent/nonexistent feedback about the hacks of the first Super Mario Bros.,
I have decided to make another one for Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3 for some reason. To those of you who are not aware,
you can play all of these Mario hacks in your browser through the wonderful technology of Java and Virtual NES.
Install Java if you haven't! So, here it goes...to those of you actually reading this.
Super Mario Bros. 2 (Original)
To those of you who haven't played the original Super Mario Bros. 2 or Doki Doki Panic (the Japanese game it was so blatantly edited off of) you might want to go and do that first. That way, you'll actually understand what's different in these hacks. In the case of SMB 2, it's mostly sprite edits converting greatness to awesomeness.
Dinobot Bros. AKA Transformers
There is no better way to start of a list than with Transformers. Yes, you read that correctly, Transformers in the dream world of Mario. Pretty much everything in this hack is made out of some sort of Transformer, even the vines you're supposed to climb. Robot epicness!
Strange Mario Bros. 2
THERE WAS A GOOMBA ON AN OSTRICH! AN OSTRICH! AND A GOOMBA WAS ON IT! AH! Yep, this hack is definitely...strange. I don't know what's going on here and it's quite difficult to explain. All I know is there was a goomba on an ostrich and it made me happy.
Mario Disco Bros. 2
Back in the old days of playing Super Mario Bros. 2, I had always thought to myself as a child, wow, I'd really like to know what experiencing a seizure feels like, but I don't want to stop playing this game to go and try it. Well, within our great and modern society, that problem has now been solved. It also kind of 97y343gbnrb] jniwvnoj[vwspiva[uoq oj[nw[noisvap m]sav;m.
Super Pikachu World
Mario meets Pokemon! You guys...I'm A FREAKING ODDISH ON A MAGIC CARPET! Take THAT Aladdin! Now I'm in a whole new world with Pikachus...and I shall grab them and throw them off cliffs. It seems as though my wish has been granted.
Super KKK Bros. 2
And what insensitive racist game would be complete without a highly unneeded sequel? Certainly not Super KKK Bros.! For some reason you can uproot babies from the ground...could it be a possible Roots reference? I don't know, but I do know you can also uproot white paint...
Okay, that's just about enough of Super Mario Bros. 2 hacks...so how about SMB3? Most of these have less sprite edits and more level edits, so if you are in this for the challenge/fun factor and not the humor, these are probably better for you.
Super Mario Bros. 3 (Original)
First of all I have to give you the original version. It's awesomeness describes itself.
Punk Mario
Well alright, I somewhat lied about the sprite/level edit thing to an extent. This one is just Mario with a mohawk. But...it's Mario with a mohawk! Does he ever actually take off his hat? He could have always had a mohawk in the old days for all we know. You see? These are the things I think about while all of you are out there gradiating collage.
Super Carrots: The Veggie Adventures
I don't think I've even been this afraid of bunnies in my life. Then again, they usually aren't green bunnies that throw hammers and boomerangs. Why does this hack remind me of Veggie Tales? Perhaps you're just on a great quest to find your hairbrush. (If you got that reference, I both reward and pity you.)

Again with the strangeness...although this time with no goomba on an ostrich. It disappoints me a little, but I guess this hack still has good gameplay or something "important" like that.
Super Monk Bros.
This hack has provided a great source of education by reminding me that life of the monk sure is difficult. If I was a monk, I would probably get kicked out for being way too out of shape. Is that a rule? They'll make it one after I try to join.
SMB3: Twisted Lost Levels
Another weird version of SMB3 with alternate levels and stuff. Honestly I'm just sick of typing all this stuff and I don't even remember what I just played.
I know, I know, I should try harder in life. If I'm going to spend all day playing video games I might as well have something decent to say about them right? You would think so, but you would be oh so very wrong. Anyway, maybe if some browser style Super Mario World hacks come along I will make another one of these things about those, but until then...I shall just sit here being the laziest of the lazy.
